We endorse the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
advocated by the United Nations and proactively make efforts to create a sustainable society.
At our inn, we turn leftover food from the dishes we serve to our guests into fertilizer.
By buying local vegetables grown with the fertilizer and
using them in our cooking, we contribute to recycling-oriented agriculture.
Aiming to create a facility where you can take pride in your work TANPOPO Farm
TANPOPO Farm is a facility dedicated to assisting people
with disabilities in becoming independent through agricultural activities.
Twelve users and eight staff members work hard every day on the soil,
surrounded by mountains and nature at an altitude of 700 meters.
We are an NPO office and do not have the financial resources to implement smart agriculture.
While slopes and highlands are not necessarily ideal for agriculture,
we engage in traditional farming methods, relying on human labor.
We produce safe and delicious vegetables through organic farming using only cow manure and
chicken manure as fertilizer and minimal use of agrochemicals.
SDG is an abbreviation for Sustainable Development Goals.
This set of worldwide goals aims to create a sustainable and
improved society under the slogan of "Leave no one behind."
The SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030.
